About me

My name is Luke Punchard and I decided to start Punchy’s Lamp Revamp in March 2021 after my daughter’s car failed it’s MOT on the headlights. There was no ‘beam pattern’ from the headlights output, due to them being all cloudy & murky.

So rather than replacing them I carried out a refurbishment process; and hey presto they came up gleaming and subsequently enabled the car to pass it’s MOT. 

Then a couple of family members asked me to do their headlights so I decided to create Punchy’s Lamp Revamp so that I could start offering my services to others and thus saving them some money. Plus not only making their headlights look nice, clean & shiny again, but making their cars safer again.

I am not part of a large company or franchise, just a one-man-band who is extremely passionate about the headlight refurbishment service that I provide and take huge pride in what I do.

My Background 

Upon leaving school in 1986 I entered the Motor Trade and then proceeded to spend 33 years in Aftersales Departments for predominantly Main Dealers. Starting off as a Parts Assistant for a Commercial Truck Main Dealer; with the pinnacle of my Motor Trade career being that of an Aftersales Manager. 

During that time I have seen many cars with cloudy/murky headlights and the general course of action was to call in a 3rd party company to refurbish them.

Having seen the prices that they charged I certainly realised that I could provide refurbishment service at a more competitive price.
